Womens Centers
It all started in 1989 when the women of Muchinshi village, Zambia set out to make a difference. They had seen many, many hardships in their lives and wanted to help the community strive. These women formed a cooperative group that had a mission to better the people around them who needed assistance.
The Zambian women’s centers are comprised of many different communities. Each Women’s center has individual projects and goals, but ultimately they are striving to better their villages and communities by being able to provide educational opportunities, health care, and resources.
