Volunteer opportunities in the US

(1)Area of Interest: Blogging-

Update our current blog using Blogger.com. Post HANDZ events as well as Zambian current events and stories of interest surrounding Africa, education, etc.

(2)Area of Interest: Sponsorship coordinator

Assist the HANDZ Fundraising Coordinator in sponsorship activities. Work with local businesses and organizations to get sponsorships or donated products and services. This would include volunteering to organize sponsorships for special benifit events or working towards gaining free copies, faxes, postage for day to day resources.

(3)Area of Interest: Advertising/marketing assistant

Help the Marketing Coordinater in marketing design and distrubution. Help design/print brochures, flyers, information packets, etc.

(4)Area of Interest: General volunteer-

Assist in any HANDZ activities necessary. This would include mailing, sitting in information booths, making phone calls or emailing donors/other affiliates, etc.
